Flowers for the Gazebo??

We had a wonderful Memorial day. First thing was to cut the grass and weed the flowers which we actually got accomplished. Then, finally, we got the pool going. Had to fill it up with water then shock it. Boy was it an ugly green! Doesn't make one want to go swimming, but by tomorrow it should clear up. We had a great cookout with family. Then back home to veg on the couch. Tomorrow's project is to plant flowers around the gazebo and go get some hanging baskets for it. We just got it at the end of the summer last year so I haven't done anything with it yet. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I was thinking about purple and yellow baskets to hang, and not sure what to plant around it yet. I guess I'll decide on the fly tomorrow, but if you have ideas, let me know. Here a couple of pictures we took before we got it level. I almost put it on Craiglist to sell it. I got so frustrated because we (my fiancee and I) kept arguing as to where it should go, I wanted it to stay where it is and he wanted it right beside the pool, but I finally won so it's going to stay. LOL

I'll be sure and post new pictures tomorrow once we get the flowers around it. Next, is to put the privacy fence up along the back side of the pool. Maybe in a couple of weeks...???

Have a great evening and be sure to comment if you have any ideas of what kind of flowers to plant around this.

Hi Nancy!
Thanks for visiting me...GOOD LUCK with your remodel! I will say a lil prayer that you keep your sanity! LOL! Kitchens are the worst, in my opinion (to remodel).
Are ya doin the work yourselves?
We are...and it seems like it's takin forever!
We actually gutted the entire kitchen and dining room and removed the wall between the two rooms and made it one big kitchen. I moved my dining room to where the old living room was...
My house is in complete disarray at this point!
Anyway...I can't wait to see whatcha have planned. You'll really like the lights-I love mine!
Best of luck to ya!

Have a happy weekend.

hugs-Kath

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for visiting my site. It's always so nice to meet another prim friend. I see you met Kath. Hi Kath! I live about about 40 miles north and west of NYC. Maybe the three of us will have a chance to meet someday! Your drop leaf table and chairs are gorgeous! Hope all goes well with your remodel. I can't wait to see the reveal. Have a great "rest of the weekend". Hugs, Loretta

Me again. I just tried to get on your prim shop but I couldn't connect. I'll try again later. If you would like I can put a link to your shop on mine. Because of sweet ladies like Kath who linked me to their shop, my shop has been getting a lot of traffic lately. Let me know! Bye
